Hi there! I know it's been way too long..but I never feel like I have anything exciting enough to say..

Well I switched my major from Elem. Ed to Art History. What would I ever do with that degree? I have no clue! haha..but I love art and I'm passionate about it so that's what I decided to do. I'm weird b/c I still want to teach and I'm sure I'll get my teaching certificate b/c I adore kids but as for studying something and getting a degree I'm going with art. Who knows where that will take me..I still plan on traveling a lot and there are a lot of museums in Europe so who knows.

Random..but gosh I want to be an actress so bad!! Watching the Golden Globes tonight was so fun! All I dream about is being able to be a part of that..to be a part of great movies ..to inspire people. I definitely want to do some more local theatre stuff soon.

I love the holidays! I just really wish that I had more time to shop! I have 4, possibly 5 babysitting jobs in the next 3 days so I'm going to have to shop every spare second which is ok with me. I finished reading A Million Little Pieces. It was a good book..hard to read though at times b/c it deals with a hard issue. It gave lots of insight about what being an addict is truly like. Today I started the DaVinci code and so far it's good. We just watched A Charlie Brown Christmas. That is the sweetest little video. I love it.

Sorry it's been so long! So Thanksgiving break was great..exept the occasional thought of school ..ugg. Anyway I got to spend some great time with the family. I saw Pride and Prejudice which was awesome!!! I also saw Walk the Line today which was great as well! So many great movies out!

Even though I didn't know Kyle Lake, I'm still really saddened by the whole situation. I cannot even imagine what his wife and family/friends are going through. Now I'm kicking myself for never going to see him preach b/c today in chapel Dutton played and Logan was talking about the awesome sermons Kyle did and how that for him there was no line in between the Christian world the secular world. So he would do sermons that included Coldplay and their music..etc and this next Sun he was going ot do a sermon about Garden State! How awesome is that. It's sounds like he was just the preacher I need! So that's why I guess for a lot of people right now it's hard not to be angry at God ..or at least question this whole thing. I guess the only thing left to do is take comfort in God..and just trust in him with all we have.

This past weekend and today (mon) were a blast! On Fri night I went to the bonfie which was fun and came back to the apt where Rachel told us about a lil Halloween party. I didnt have my costume w/ me so I went as a Mulan type girl in a kimono, it was cute though. Then Sat I babysat and Sun the roomies had a picnic at Cameron park. Beware of those stickers though if you ever decide to have a picnic there! Oh and I saw Zorro w/ my Mom and Gray on Sun. It was great! Then today (halloween) was a blast. My princess Leia costume was a great sucess thanks to Alissa's great bun work. They were perfect! We went to Crickets all dressed up which was fun. Now my throat is hurting and I'm scared b/c I cannot get sick! Too many tests and grades to bring up!! Well I hope everyone has a great week!

Me on halloween

haha even with my hair as long and thick as it is, I don't think I could ever get it to be that big. haha We'll see how it turns out. I love the whole dressing up/trick or treating aspect of Halloween. And I know its still early but I am already soo excited about Christmas. I love it SO much!

I had to decide between Leia and Hermione.. haha I don't know why but I love her! haha she's a tough, smart girl with hair like mine is naturally!

What a wonderful weekend! I did NOT want to come back to school today!! I finally got to see Elizabethtown with my mom (she's great) and it was good. I saw a preview for a movie that I am extremely excited about. It's Casanova..starring none other than Heath Ledger and also Sienna Miller so that'll be one I'll see on opening weekend. I went to a bridal shower for my wonderful aunt Kara which was a blast. Then I went with my fam and worked at the Arts Center Halloween party, there were some funny costumes. My dad was great in a Superman costume and there was a boy in a whoopie cushion costume that was a close 2nd, haha. I got a halloween costume as well..Princess Leia! Gosh I wish this cold weather would last! I love winter..it's my favorite season. I love winter clothes so much, as well as the cold and getting to bundle up and build a fire. I loved her wardrobe in this movie! Supposedly they got most of it from vintage shops. I love the red hat!!

This past weekend was lots of fun. I went w/ Alissa and Jennifer to a Relient K concert in Austin. Austin is a fun city, it's soo different, you forget you're in Texas! So Relient K was awesome, and then there were 3 other bands, MXPX, House of Heroes, and Rufio. They were all great. Only 3 more days left in this week since we get Fri off, yea!

Go Astros!!!!!!!! We could very possibly have a TX team in the world series!
